Hellooo, one and all =) Welcome to our blog.
It's hard to make a name for one's self on the internet these days but this is our humble attempt. And who are we? ... The Brothers GLeeD! Adventurers, philosophers, teachers, we're making our way through the world as best we can, using our minds but following our hearts. And just like the Ninja Turtles we used to love as kids, we each have unique qualities and a sort of style of our own which all adds to the awesomeness of the whole. Our intention with this blog, for now, is simply to get ourselves out there. We feel we all have great ideas that are often lost in obscurity so this will serve as a hub from which they can possibly flourish into something worthy. We'll write, collaborate, post cool stuff and comment on each other's posts. (What do think, guys? Good intro so far? =) ).
But okay, so, this page is about the "D" part of GleeD, which would be me. I'm the oldest, and that comes with a variety of "est"'s like tallest, smartest, funniest, most artistic, humblest, etc ... =)
My interests are many, ranging from creative gameplay and art, to writing and language, to physical science, psychology and philosophy. I believe if I had the time, there would be very few subjects I wouldn't be into. (And then there are those for which I would pay not to ever have to see or hear of again... Shiny vampires, country music, Scientology Jehovah's Witness's and Jean-Claude van Damme movies, to name but a few). My main, active interests right now, though, are...

The Scientific Method - It irritates me to even have to write it out like that. I mean, the scientific method, as opposed to what? >.< ... Which is exactly what my other blog, Amateur Insights of an Ignostic Mammal, is all about.
Fractals - Those really cool, colourful patterns that you can zoom into infinitely, to produce magnificent imagery... Using maths to create art! Check out Mandelubber, yet another blog, and you can see examples of 3D fractal art on my DeviantArt page.
Minecraft - The 'creative gameplay' I mentioned =) ... We GLeeD brothers play online together and Lee and I play on a multi-player server. See my first post for links to my youtube channel, where I post Minecraft videos.
Language and writing - I've always loved writing. I've kept a journal since 2004 and used to write poetry ('don't know what's happened... I haven't written a poem in three years!). I think that expressing one's self in written word is one of the best "self-discovery" tools there is. And it's great exercise for your brain =) Finally, though I've always loved language and expression, my appreciation for them really got a boost when I started teaching English for a living, and learning Portuguese at the same time.
So, I trust that that gives you all a better idea of who I am, and I hope you like my content, a list of which will now follow. Adeus!
